Checking the sealant on the roof I see a few places around vents that have some small cracks in the self-leveling caulk. I have some self-leveling caulk, but was wondering how best to do this job, should I remove part or all of the old, or can I just put it over the existing after cleaning the dirt off?

If you’re using the same Dicor product over existing, a good cleaning is all you need to do to touch it up. I was told this by Carriage, and two dealers when fixing a skylite leak.

After the” good cleaning” use a scrubby and some type of alcohol to finish the cleaning.
