- Our 2012 35fws shower control valve has no manufacturer name that I can see. I want to convert/replace with one that can control temp and water volume separately. Has anyone done this. Residential ones that I have looked at won’t work, still looking.
Is an rv specific dual control available?
ThanksPosted: 6:07 PM – Feb 04, 2014It seems that most residential shower faucets these days are pressure regulated to help prevent scalding. That said, not many manufacturers go to the expense of designing a valve that both pressure regulates AND has volume control. I have several Grohe thermostatic shower valves in my stick built house that have performed flawlessly for 20+ years. The hassle of fitting the valve body into the RV shower would be challenging as well as the $500+ price tag.B.W.Gentry
