      Hello

The shower fixture in the unit we just purchased cannot be shut off unless you rotate the shower faucet handle all the way around to the cold side. When it hits the stop the water shuts off.

Looking at the handle it looks like it should push up and down to change the flow of water.

      Is ours working correctly?

I’ve installed a thermostatic mixing valve.  It took a little bit of fiddling but the payback is 1000X.  After initially setting the temperature all we do now it turn the water on and off.

I installed the same thermostatic valve.  The water connection points are 6 inches and our cameo has 4 inch holes.  So some adjustment is needed.  Well with it!

As far as I know, the Carriage’s have a two handle system for the shower and the Lifestyle uses a single handle valve. I had some issues with mine. I have replaced all of my faucets, Kitchen , bathroom sink and shower valve with Kohler residential stuff which is of much better quality than the RV stuff that my 2013 came with! Rich

                Thanks Rich

I agree with you on the quality of the products built specifically for the RV industry.

If I had some way to determine what manufacturer made these I could probably get the information I need.

So far when I have contacted a manufacturer about the equipment in the Lifestyle they have researcher their records and found the information I needed.
