Well, after 13 years of faithful service, our steps have had it.  3 rivets have given out in the past 2 months.  I replaced the top 2 with bolts, but now one of the side ones has broken and steps are unusable.  I have the option of replacing all of the rivets with some sort of flat head bolt that may or may not fit, or replace the steps.  I suspect it’s time for a replacement after all of the use they have endured, we are not small people.

So, any idea who made the original 3 step?  I’m not a fan of Lippert’s new radius steps, they may be fine, it’s more of a mental thing with muscle memory for flat face steps for all of these years.  Thanks for any assistance on this one.

Glowstep Revolution by Torklift in the Seattle area.

e-trailer, Amazon and others carry them

i have the 20-inch wide steps  tge 19-inch wide carpet pieces fit perfectly.  The framing is about 27-inches wide but plenty of room in my 2010 . the  newer 5er have a wider opening.

Rock solid on the ground, plus several adjustments.  I needed 4 steps on the 2010 that had the suicide step inside the 5er.  The later models with no step down inside the 5er will need 5 steps

very easy 2-person job, but I did my own in the tighter space.

just added MorRyde’s Sate-T-Rail.  Nothing like it and I have tested and used several over the years.  The last great stainless steel one was bought out by and dumbed down by Lippert. 2 weeks ago camping world was $50 cheaper than amazon

        best of luck

Good Day.  We travel in a 2010 Cameo FWS and at 67 years young decided to upgrade our steps to the Mor/ryde step above brand. A few measurements ie width of doorway and floor height from the ground up and they’ll hook you up. We choose the four step version. An hours worth of easy install and you’re set. We love them. When you stow them just lift up into doorway, lock them in place and your set. They’re made of 100% aluminum so very light with adjustable feet. A whole lot less effort climbing up and down. Give them a look. Happy travels

We also have the Glowstep (4 step version) on our 35SB3, and although I did have to do some trial and error adjustments to get them to where my much better half could easily store and unstore them, they’re head and shoulders above the OEM steps. No more diving board off the end of the OEM steps, and if you happen to be in a tight parking space, e.g., between two 18 wheelers in a rest area, you don’t need to extend them all the way. Just treat them like a ladder.

If you are in the Seattle area, TorkCentral in Kent can also supply.

2014 Lifestyle 36FW.  We just bought a Lippert SolidStep with lift-assist.  We got the 4 step version and it is just long enough to reach the ground so be sure to measure the height of the door and the width so you get the right version.  I bought it off Amazon.
